Pre-enrolment and School Visits
We welcome all primary school-aged students within our zone to Edendale School. We encourage you to pre-enrol your child and make a booking to participate in pre-school visits for the three weeks prior to your child turning five. Please remember that it is a legal requirement for children to be accompanied by an adult caregiver for the duration of each visit. These sessions are a valuable way of introducing children to teachers and school. Please call at reception and complete the required visiting form when you pre-enrol your child.
We do not currently accept out of zone enrolments.
Our office is open between 8:20am - 3:30pm weekdays.
School starts at 8:50 am and finishes at 3:00pm. Our school gates are open from 8:20am.
Parent-School Partnerships and Meetings
We do appreciate involvement and voluntary assistance with school outings, camps and class visits. Please let your child’s teacher know if you are interested in participating at school in this way.
You’ll also have opportunities to:
Come along to morning teas for new parents, held every term
Meet the senior leadership team mornings and afternoons
Receive fortnightly emailed newsletters to keep you up to date with events, programmes, curriculum, successes and our student writers
Team / Rōpū newsletters
Participate in school surveys regarding strategic planning and school activities
